Behind the Scenes
Impact Stories
Lead Cinematographer
Iโm Jesse Ovalles, a cinematographer and storyteller based in Westchester, NY. With a background in both filmmaking and marketing, I help mission-driven professionals and organizations share their stories through authentic, purpose-led filmmaking.
My journey began at Syracuse University, where I earned a BFA in Video Production, followed by an MBA in Marketing from Mercy College. That creative-meets-strategy foundation continues to shape how I approach every project, blending artistry with intention to craft stories that connect, represent, and endure.
Over the years, Iโve collaborated with NYC agencies like McCann Erickson on national campaigns for brands such as Mastercard, and served as a cinematographer and editor for clients including Showtime. In 2019, I founded Jesse O. Visuals, which later evolved into Impact Stories, a filmmaking studio dedicated to helping professionals, nonprofits, and organizations communicate their mission with honesty, empathy, and trust.
